For example in her journal she wrote a script.Here was one of her lines"Tommy stop that."She also wrote the book in a 1st person perspective because she was in the book but she was also the narrator.There was just one more she didn't write in chapters she wrote the book as a journal with dates.

Mary Lou writes in all kinds of figurative language. Ii think that this assignment that her teacher gave her is getting her to become a stronger writer. Because she writes almost everyday. I am not sure but I think this is personification. When she said "Carl Ray did not make up his stupid bed again." The bed can't be stupid.
